At Thamesville United Church, we believe ministry extends far beyond the walls of a building. It is about walking alongside people through life’s joys, challenges, questions, and transitions. That is the spirit I bring to my ministry.

I first felt called to ministry in my early teens, a calling that has guided my life’s journey ever since. My theological education took me to Chicago, London, and Halifax, and along the way I also pursued training in social work and human services. This has allowed me to serve in healthcare, mental health, geriatrics, and in communities often overlooked or misunderstood.
Over the years, I have worked with people from all walks of life—those struggling with addiction, individuals involved in gang life, people who have been incarcerated, and those experiencing abuse or trauma. I have provided counselling for grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, supporting individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. Through workshops, counselling, and community engagement, I have accompanied people through major life transitions—whether becoming independent adults, caring for aging parents, coping with loss, or navigating seasons of change and uncertainty.
My commitment to ministry has also led me to advocate for justice and inclusion. I have worked with organizations addressing poverty, housing insecurity, racism, inequity, and the needs of those whose voices too often go unheard. I believe every person has inherent worth and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
As minister of Thamesville United Church, I see my role as serving not only the congregation, but the wider community as well. Perhaps you have wondered where you fit when it comes to church. Perhaps you feel disconnected from organized religion or unsure whether you belong. I want you to know that church was never meant to be simply a building. It was meant to be a community of people learning to love, forgive, understand, and care for one another.
Sometimes my role is simply to listen. Sometimes it is to offer support, advocacy, guidance, or prayer. Sometimes it is to walk with people through grief, loss, uncertainty, or change. Whatever brings you to this page, you do not have to walk alone.
I believe we do life together. I believe everyone belongs.
Whether you are searching for spiritual connection, someone to talk to, support during a difficult time, or simply a caring presence, I invite you to reach out. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you, learn from you, and grow together in compassion, hope, and community.
No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you are on life’s journey, there is a place for you here—and I would be honoured to be your minister.
